The Easter bunny came! The kids were quite thrilled with the arrival and the crazy load of candy! (The bunny may have gone overboard....may have) The three older kids basket contained candy, a book and plenty of bubbles and J's basket had a book, sippy cup, his favorite yogurt melts, a few small toys and of course some candy. The only candy he received was a ring pop and a few M&Ms but man did he like it! Throughout the day we had several egg hunts. After about the 10th round of the kids hiding the eggs for themselves we had lost one! They were hiding them in the basement playroom which means there are endless place this egg could have gone. Finally after a lot of searching and many emptied toy boxes, I located the egg! Good thing too because that would have really smelled in a few days! Once the egg was found, I took away those because they were cracked and crushed and I knew that the next time one was lost, I wouldn't be so lucky. We then switched to the Hershey's foil wrapped eggs. The searches continued!
Overall I think everyone had a good Easter. Our dinner was delicious, kids pigged out on candy and blew tons of bubbles. If the weather had been nicer, it would have been perfect!!
